Home | 09 September 2017 | Attendance: 64

Horndean beat Andover Town 4-3 in what can only be described as an epic tie that went to extra time at Five Heads Park. Miles Everett, Jack Maloney and Harry Jackson scored before Lee Tigwell kept his cool to notch the winner from the penalty spot.

Horndean progress to the next round to play KnapHill away. Talking before the match to Michael Birmingham he said he is expecting a close-fought tie.‘Both teams are unbeaten in the league so it should be one heck of a tie,’ and added that ‘It is a shame that two clubs from the same league have been drawn together.‘Andover are my tip as dark horses to win the league so we will have to be at our best.

The game did not disappoint, credit to Andover they were superb on the day and they took their chances well, the only difference was the final kick of the game.
